CGS Contractors & Celtic Turf – BBC Radio Cornwall

CGS Contractors and Celtic Turf have made an appearance on BBC Radio Cornwall to discuss some recent community projects we have taken part in.

Our Junior Project Manage Luke McFadden spoke about our donation of Cornish white gravel and geotextile membrane to Pendeen primary school to allow for a new access route into the school grounds ensuring students, staff and parents can safely enter. Luke also spoke about the other recent works we have carried out within the community to lend a helping hand where possible. The school staff put in some incredibly hard work to clear the overgrown area and remove all existing plants and weeds to develop the new entrance point. 

During the pandemic our garden maintenance team has also helped with another local community group St Just in Bloom to maintain the communal areas of the town and cut back the overgrown grass areas. The local community has had an immense effort to come together and make the best out of this situation for all to benefit.
